Pure acoustic guitar. No effects, no tricks, just acoustic guitar
Dave Rolfe is a Folk Guitarist specializing in instrumentals ranging from Irish harp music to the Delta Blues. He plays with a vitality rarely seen in acoustic guitar players but sees himself as a humble disciple of such British acoustic guitar worthies as Davey Graham, Bert Jansch, and Ralph McTell. Dave returned to the folk scene in 1997 by joining the band at the Unicorn Folk Club near Weston Park. In his misspent youth he played rock and roll, acoustic blues and ragtime and was keen to extend these influences into his folk playing.

Dave's new album "Feckless Eric" was recorded at Brian Bedford's Park Head Studio in Yorkshire. It features Folk, Blues and Ragtime tunes alongside some self penned numbers. All these are played on acoustic guitar. No electronic effects, no session musicians. Just Dave and his acoustic guitar.
